Description
This is our in house module 1 training course (September) that will give you the confidence, knowledge and ability to restore the majority of ground surfaces. This course covers the following:
Health & safety training relevant to the task in hand including:
- How to complete a COSHH assessment
- Compiling risk assessment and method statement documents
- Choosing & maintaining the correct equipment
- Choosing the correct PPE
- Handling & storing chemicals
The remainder of the module 1 training course will be aimed at identifying, cleaning, preparing and sealing the following surfaces:
- Block paving
- Pattern imprinted concrete
- Common types of stone
- Tarmac & asphalt
- Resin bond & wet pour
We will also teach you how to do the following:
- Remove a failed/unwanted sealer
- Treating & removing everyday stains
- How to create maintenance plans
The above is a brief breakdown of what we touch on but there are also giveaways on the day which will be vital in the day to day running of your business.
Training will take place at our selected venue, the White Lion Restaurant & Hotel in Weston, Crewe. Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day along with breakfast snacks and lunch. Any specific dietry requirements must be given in the notes section of your order.
Upon completion of the course you will receive your CPD approved certificate, NEBOSH endorsed certificate, and your City & Guilds digital credential. You will also become a PureSeal Approved Applicator which has many benefits.
